Well, I personally have trouble with binging myself, still. But I’ve found that when I have the urge to binge, distracting myself is what helps. I find something to do other than get on the computer or sit around or watch tv. Sometimes I’ll go for walks, but mostly at night I draw or read or really anything that occupies my mind and is calming. Also, I’ll get a big cup of my favorite mint tea to calm me.
What I also do to minimize the binging is having a cheat day every week or so. Basically I eat the crap I usually wouldn’t eat on that day, but still make relatively mindful choices.
